The Republic of Ireland team is heading to Craven Cottage, home of Fulham Football Club, to face Nigeria’s Super Eagles on Friday 29th May. Kick off 8pm. All eyes will be on Craven Cottage as a host of Premier League stars come together in what promises to be an enthralling encounter.
Tottenham’s Robbie Keane, Newcastle’s Damien Duff and Manchester City’s Shay Given are all likely to feature for the Republic of Ireland; with John Obi Mikel, Obafemi Martins, and Fulham’s very own Dickson Etuhu all expected to turn out for the Super Eagles. Undefeated in their World Cup qualifying campaign, The Republic of Ireland is currently joint top of Group 8 with World Cup holders Italy. The Super Eagles will provide a stern test to Trapattoni’s side as they prepare for their crucial qualifying match against Bulgaria a week later.
